Cleaning services checklist

At Lustre Property Care Ltd, we understand that the cleaning services directly impacts guest satisfaction and reviews. Our professional serviced accommodation cleaning is tailored to ensure your property is spotless, guest-ready, and presented to the highest standards every time.

 

Bedroom(s)

  • Change and neatly make beds with fresh linen
     
  • Dust all surfaces including headboards, bedside tables, and shelving
     
  • Clean mirrors and windows (internal)
     
  • Vacuum carpets and mop hard flooring
     
  • Empty bins and replace liners
     
  • Check for left-behind items
     
  • Final presentation with cushions, throws, and decorative touches
     

Bathroom(s)

  • Deep clean and disinfect toilet, bath, shower, and sink
     
  • Polish taps, shower screens, and mirrors
     
  • Replenish toilet paper and toiletries (if stocked)
     
  • Wipe all surfaces and fixtures
     
  • Empty bins and replace liners
     
  • Mop floors with disinfectant
     
  • Check for signs of mould, mildew, or limescale
     

Kitchen

  • Clean and disinfect all worktops and surfaces
     
  • Clean appliance exteriors (microwave, kettle, toaster, etc.)
     
  • Clean inside microwave and fridge (light use only)
     
  • Check and clean hob and oven front
     
  • Wash any leftover dishes and empty dishwasher if needed
     
  • Replenish welcome items (tea, coffee, sugar, etc.)
     
  • Empty bins and replace liners
     
  • Sweep and mop floors
     

Living Room / Dining Area

  • Dust all surfaces, including TV, shelves, and coffee tables
     
  • Clean and sanitise remote controls, light switches, and door handles
     
  • Vacuum floors, rugs, and under cushions
     
  • Arrange cushions and throws neatly
     
  • Check for damage or missing items
     
  • Empty bins
     

Entryway & General Areas

  • Clean and disinfect light switches and door handles
     
  • Check for cobwebs in corners and ceilings
     
  • Clean glass and internal window sills
     
  • Wipe down high-touch surfaces
     
  • Final walkthrough to ensure presentation is guest-ready

  • Staging: ensure lighting, heating, and scent are inviting
